On El Camino Real in Atascadero β the shop for everyone between SLO and Paso Robles.
The Porcher family opened their first Jiffy Lube in Santa Maria in 1987 β the same year many Atascadero residents were driving El Camino Real to work in SLO or up to the emerging wine region in Paso Robles. Nearly four decades later, the family runs eight locations across both counties.
Atascadero has always been a self-sufficient town. Founded as a planned colony in 1913, it was designed from the start to be a complete community β not a suburb of somewhere else. That independent spirit is exactly why this El Camino Real shop exists: so North County residents have what they need right here, without driving to SLO or Paso for basic automotive services.

Atascadero isn't a flashy place β it's a place that values substance. Our shop runs the same way. Upfront pricing, honest assessments, work done right the first time. No upselling, no surprises on the bill.
The Jiffy Lube Career Path gives our team structured training, ASE certification support, health and dental benefits, 401(k), and paid time off. In a community where people want to build lives β not just commute to jobs elsewhere β we're creating careers that stay local.
Atascadero's inland climate means real summer heat and wider temperature swings than the coast. Our team understands what that does to vehicles β we see the effects every day and maintain cars accordingly.
Jiffy Lube provides industry-leading training, equipment, and processes. That means consistent service whether you come for a smog check, oil change, or brake job.
But ownership is local. Sean Porcher and Cody Mead make the decisions, and the community holds them accountable. In a town like Atascadero where word of mouth matters, that accountability is the foundation of everything we do.

Across all eight locations, the Porcher family team supports the Muscular Dystrophy Association's Central Coast chapter. In a community-first town like Atascadero, being a good neighbor is just part of doing business.
Our Career Path program helps team members earn certifications and build automotive careers right here in North County β no commute to SLO or the Bay Area required.
